What a wonderful weekend:) The weekend started off on Friday by visiting Manny in the hospital. His surgery went well and he was so brave:) Visiting was cut short because there were other visitors and only two people were aloud in the room at a time. I then drove to White Marsh and ordered my new kitchen table, which will arrive two day's before my Halloween party:):) I then went home and Misti and Madison came over for a slumber party:) Madison is soo big--I can't believe she is one. She is so beautiful and a real good child. Misti has been blessed:):) We hung out and drank some wine and me and Misti stayed up talking until 2am. It was fun:)
Then on Saturday Misti stayed around so Alex could see Madison. He has not seen her since she was born--After that Me and Al took a little cat nap as we waited for the guy to arrive to buy my old Refrigerator. Once the refrigerator was gone me and Al were on our way to PA for the Apple festival. It was an awesome drive. We took the back roads which was so beautiful. We always have such fun taking road trips together, 2 hours always seams like 5 minutes. Once we arrived and said our "hi's" to everyone, we took Tyler and Josh on a "haunted" walk through the apple fields. I was kind of scared myself. Alex kept hiding in the corn fields and bushes and then jumped out to scare us. I keep thinking what if there was a crazy person out there--but we made it home safe:):) Then it was off to the hotel. Me, mom Joyce and the boy's. It was fun, I got to cuddle with the boy's:)
Then on Sunday we woke up at 6, went to pick Alex, my dad and pap up then off to the festival we went. I love the apple festival, it is so much fun. I love it because of the smells and the atmosphere. It is such a cuddly time. It is the same routine every year. Once we get there, we go to this stand that sells breakfast sandwiches and Pap always buy's everyone breakfast. We then just walk around and they have everything you can imagine, crafts, petting zoos, demonstrations on how applesauce is made, funnel cakes--ect ect. We made scarecrows with the boy's, Pam gave us bags of caramel/candy apples and then the day was over. On our way home me and Alex stopped at this farmer's market and picked out our pumpkins. By the time I got home I was exhausted. Me, Laura and Alex went out for dinner. Al went home and me and Laura watched a movie, but I fell asleep ten minutes in to it. Now it is Monday, the start of a new day.
